What would Batman’s deadliest foes look like if they had mug shots taken in the middle third of the 20th century? Would the Joker resemble John Dillinger staring cockily at the camera, arms defiantly cross. The artist Jempix has imagined this shot in a series The Usual Suspects, and the result is striking.
